The Eye & The Ring: What My Recent Meditation Taught Me About Inner Truth and Long-Term Growth
There are moments in meditation when something deeper arrives. Not a solution. Not a breakthrough. Just… a message—quiet and symbolic, but somehow undeniable.
This week, two images emerged with stunning clarity:
🐎 The soft, steady eye of a horse
🪐 The ringed and powerful presence of Saturn
At first glance, they seemed unrelated. One wild and instinctual. The other cosmic and ancient. But the more I sat with them, the more they revealed something universal—not about what to see, but how to live.
And I share them with you today not because you need to see what I saw, but because the messages behind them speak to something we all face in our own way: The need to be fully present in who we are—and the strength it takes to stay committed to the life we’re building.
🐎 The Wisdom in the Gaze
The first image—the horse’s eye—was vivid and alive. It wasn’t just an eye. It was a mirror. A reflection of what it means to be present, emotionally honest, and deeply aware.
Horses are sensitive creatures. They sense energy, emotion, and unspoken tension. They don’t need language to understand what’s happening around them—they feel it. And in that moment, I realized: This symbol wasn’t about the horse. It was about me—and maybe, about all of us.
How often do we override what we feel in order to perform, please, or “push through”? How often do we numb or minimize emotions that are simply asking to be witnessed?
The horse’s eye reminded me of the courage it takes to be seen—not just by others, but by ourselves.
And it raised a quiet but powerful question: Am I willing to truly see myself—not just when I feel proud or put together, but even in my vulnerability?
🪐 The Power in the Stillness
The second image was Saturn—unmoving, vast, surrounded by rings of strength and structure.
In astrology and mythology, Saturn is the planet of boundaries, time, and discipline. It teaches us the value of slow growth, of showing up consistently, even when the results aren’t immediate or visible. It’s the teacher of devotion—not the flashy kind, but the grounded, lifelong kind.
To me, this wasn’t a harsh image. It was a reminder: True freedom doesn’t come from avoiding commitment. It comes from choosing it—over and over again.
Saturn reflected the part of me that’s been building. Quietly. Privately. With no guarantee of outcome, but with deep belief in the why.
And maybe you’ve felt that too. That pull to stay with your healing. To keep showing up for your dream. To honor your evolution… even when no one else sees it.
🌗 Holding Both
At first, these two symbols seemed to speak in different languages. But I realized—they were part of the same conversation.
The eye of the horse reminded me to feel fully. Saturn reminded me to stay intentionally. One was emotional truth. The other was soul structure. Together, they created a deeper message: Being seen and being steady are not opposites. They are partners in your becoming.
✨ Your Reflection
You don’t need to see these exact images to understand their meaning. You’ve likely felt their energy in your own life. Maybe you’re in a season where you’re learning to stay with your feelings rather than escape them. Maybe you’re being asked to commit more deeply to something unseen—but sacred.
Here are a few questions you might sit with this week:
Where in my life am I being asked to feel—without fixing?
Where am I being called to stay—even when it’s slow or uncertain?
What kind of foundation am I quietly building… that might one day become part of my legacy? (Not a legacy of external validation, but a legacy of silent impact on the people and the world around me).
You don’t need to rush. You don’t need to prove. You are allowed to grow slowly. To build quietly. To feel deeply.
Always remember: There is wisdom in the wild. And there is legacy in the slow.
