What It Feels Like to Move From Truth: The Kind of Energy That Gives Back

What It Feels Like to Move From Truth

There’s a powerful shift that happens after a breakthrough, one we don’t talk about enough.

After a change is made… After a decision is honored… After a rebrand, after a truth is spoken… We sense a refreshing and fulfilling feeling.

Because once we’re finally living from a place of truth, effort is still given, but now it feels completely different.

This Kind of Work Doesn’t Drain You (It Devotes You)

When we were surviving, effort was pulling us subconsciously into exhaustion. When we were performing, effort was a mask. When we were seeking, effort was a means to prove our worth.

But when we’re living from truth? Effort becomes a way of consciously tending to what matters. It’s no longer about pushing harder, it’s about showing up with presence. Now, can we still get tired from this kind of effort? You bet. But it’s not the kind of tiredness that hollows you out. It’s the kind that allows you to recognize your need for a pause, and to intentionally rest and refuel along the way, sustainably.

The Friction of Subconscious Effort

When we’re living in survival mode, our old, outdated patterns are running the show. So what does that mean? Well, when we’re acting from this place, we’re not fully in tune with our bodies and the needs they have after putting forward significant effort, which leads to us not recognizing when we need to take time to recover. This is where burnout enters the chat.

When our lifestyles, actions and behaviors are coming from a place of opposition to our truth, we subconsciously ignore the flags from our bodies indicating that we need space to rest.

The Flip Side: A Life of Truth

When we step into awareness and we begin to see how those old programs were acting directly against our true desires, it feels like the veil has finally been lifted away from our eyes. We can see again. We honestly forgot that a life with this amount of possibility ever even existed.

It’s at this point we’re able to finally, consciously and intentionally, choose the way forward that we want to pursue. This not only opens up the door to reconnecting with our joy, but it also reconnects us to our bodies, which changes the game completely.

When we’re connected to our bodies and our minds, together, in tandem, we consciously take action and put forth effort. What follows is an awareness of when we need to slow down. Those flags that the subconscious was ignoring? We don’t need them to be waived anymore… We sense the need before the flags are ever a factor. Why? Because we can finally listen. And listening doesn’t just apply to the audible, it applies to what we feel. We now hear what our bodies are communicating to us, and we can honor their need for rest and recovery, not as a last resort, but as a healing and natural part of our lifestyle.

If This Resonates…

If this resonates with you, there’s a new podcast episode on Ride Your Tide that explores how the energy of truth is an energy that brings something back to us, with every step.
